Working Mom in HoustonWhen faced with questions about working and being a mom, it’s all about who’s asking. The question “What do you do?” can make a new stay-at-home mom squirm. “Do you have kids?” when asked by a potential employer can make an interview awkward. You’re proud of your family, but in certain situations, it feels like these questions come with consequences.

This week in Citi Connect, moms from every walk of life were looking for a little advice. Some are leaving a career to stay at home, some are looking to re-enter the workforce and others are leaving their husbands at home with the kids–and looking for women who can relate . As we all know, they came to the right place. No one steps up to challenging questions like the women of Connect. Chime in with your experiences, and let these moms know they’re not alone.

We’d also like to send a special thanks to everyone who participated in our live chat on Wednesday when Linda Descano, President/CEO of Citi’s Women & Co., answered questions about getting your finances in order for spring. If you weren’t able to join us, you can still catch all of Linda’s advice here.
